Our namesake rye whiskey is handcrafted from 60% rye grain and 40% proprietary malted barley blend. Alembic pot distilled and aged in a progression of three casks, utilizing the solera method. It begins to develop in new charred North American oak barrels. Successive maturation evolves in port wine casks then finishes in Appalachian white oak vats. Gray Wolf boasts a rich nose and complex body. The signature peppery spice of the rye grain lingers yet is balanced with a softer sweet finish from the malted barley. Notes of cherry mingle with hints of leather where cinnamon and vanilla are equalized by the undertone of smokey oak. Superb alone, savory in cocktails.

Mashed from Mid-Atlantic 2 row, chocolate malted barley, and smoked malted barley, Gray Wolf® American Single Malt Whiskey boasts a bold, rich, and full flavor profile. Hints of coffee, chocolate, and caramel are enhanced with a sweet nuttiness and balanced with a warm spice from the PX sherry casks. Best served shared.

For the love of whiskey, we are proud to introduce you to our GRAY WOLF® Single Barrel Select Series. No. 1 is a curated limited edition bourbon made in collaboration with and as a celebration of Maryland distilling. Our share of this bourbon program increased when an associate distiller decided to go in a different direction. We were able to procure all of the 22 barrels made and are thrilled to be able to release this Maryland made Bourbon in Maryland as it was originally intended. In a nod to the storied history of Rye Whiskey in Maryland, the high rye content of Gray Wolf® Bourbon adds a gentle spice that rounds out the sweetness of the corn. Smooth with hints of toffee and caramel, it has a long and silky finish.

coco – cacao infused whiskey

40% abv (80 proof) 375ml
Coco is rested on Brazilian oak which imparts hints of honey, graham cracker, and gingerbread counterbalanced with notes of fruity baking spices. We then infuse it with Brazilian cacao shells which adds a rich aromatic chocolate note that builds and lingers on the palette with each sip. Unexpected and naturally sweet, no sugar has been added. We love this one sipped or mixed…try a chocolate old fashioned, chocolate “martini,” or add it to hot cocoa.
